Engine details: Built on St. Patrick's day 1970- don't know if it is just a coincidence - the car is Green on Green
Crack in Block replaced by GM in 1972 (stamped with truck code due to shortage in 72) all other engine parts original (only block was changed)
Other details: 1970 Corvette Stingray with 44,000 original miles. 454 cu. in. 390 hp. 500 ft. lbs. torque. During refresh the following was done- replaced chrome-License plate bezel, exhaust bezels, stainless exhaust tips, rear CORVETTE lettering, Stingray emblems, shifter knob, seat adjuster knobs, hood vents, 454 hood emblems, re-chromed front and rear bumpers, interior mirror exterior door handles. Engine,,,,all seals and gaskets replaced, new oil pump, water pump, fuel pump, electronic ignition in the stock distributor, freeze plugs, clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, plugs, plug wires, 750 Holley carburetor, motor mounts, transmission mounts, transmission seals, starter, camshaft (a bit hotter than stock) Suspension work,,,, Complete front end bushings, upper and lower ball joints, idler arm, power steering rebuilt, rear trailing arms replaced with the stainless kit, front and rear gas shocks, tie rod ends. Brakes,,,,Front and rear brake hoses, front calipers, front rotors and bearings, master cylinder. Misc,,,,New rocker panels, radiator redone, replaced heater controls and knobs, new U-joints, freeze plugs, washer bottle and hoses, all new vacuum hoses through out the car, gas cap, all 3 grills replaced with new, engine compartment wire harness redone, shifter boot, floor mats, complete rear end bushings, aluminum dyna mufflers, new oil and battery gauges. This list is very close to complete It's possible I've missed some items. This car idles smooth -rides and corners great. Has the removable rear window with the storage shelf. Lap and shoulder belts. The car was painted about 18 years ago. There is small paint bubble about the size of a 1/2 dollar above the driver rear wheelwell.
